Heritage College & Seminary | www.DiscoverHeritage.ca Heritage College & Seminary is a post-secondary institution committed to delivering excellence in Christian Higher Education through its innovative programming, rich campus life and modern facilities. UIM has served as technology partners for several years and successfully completed a diverse range of projects from multimedia presentations to a job posting site. Recently, Heritage was faced with the challenge of trying to present vast amounts of content for its various stakeholders in an organized and accessible manner. The groups included prospective college students, prospective seminary students, current students, and alumni, to name a few. UIM engaged in an extensive consultation which included focus groups with the internal departments and students, an analysis of the previous site's analytics, and survey of competing institutions. The outcome of the exercise was a recommendation to utilize a central landing page and develop specific streams for the major groups. To help reach the young people that Heritage serves, a mobile-friendly version of the site was also launched to provide key information in a format optimized for smaller mobile screens on 3G networks. A custom branded YouTube channel and Facebook page was also prepared to enable effective communication through social media. | | To help raise awareness of the new Skate Canada branding and grow its Facebook community, UIM helped deliver a unique online promotion designed to engage skate clubs across the Canada. The objective of the ‘Show it off for Skate Canada’ initiative was to involve the 1,300 clubs across Canada while promoting the organization within the skate community.
UIM delivered an online campaign via a promotional micro site and Facebook – this strategic bilingual promotion allowed Skate Canada member clubs to post still images, audio or video showing the innovative ways that they have introduced the new Skate Canada logo into their communities. The initiative resulted in a significant increase in traffic to the Skate Canada website as well as directed traffic to the microsite by encouraging daily voting for the various entries.
