UIM launches next generation of Meal Exchange website - www.mealexchange.com

UIM Internet Solutions is proud to announce the launch of the new and improved Meal Exchange website (www.mealexchange.com). With a renewed focus on increasing the span of the Meal Exchange, UIM has created a student and partner centric website to help address local hunger issues. The new site pairs the existing Meal Exchange initiative with several exciting opportunities for youth innovation to stir social change. Through design and content, the Meal Exchange website effectively showcases existing projects while allowing much of the focus to be directed new commitments. The site provides the necessary tools for promoting education amongst those who are less aware of the facts and social impact of local hunger. The expanded mandate of the Meal Exchange seeks to develop young community leaders and Canadian citizens, in order to affect change in their own backyard.

UIM actively supports various non-profit organizations through our services in providing comprehensive web solutions for these groups. Non-profit organizations have very important message to communicate to the public, media and their constituents and communication through the internet is crucial to this accomplishing this objective.

Meal Exchange is a national student-founded, youth-driven, registered charity organized to address local hunger by mobilizing the talent and passion of students. Since 1993, their programs have been run on over 50 campuses across Canada and generated donations of over $1.3 million dollars worth of food or 534,000 meals to address local hunger.
