To that end, Famous Players must ensure that it is engaging and promoting the right staff, and rewarding Theatre Managers according to their overall performance, The following case study outlines a project where User in Mind Internet Solutions was engaged to create an online survey and reporting tool for Famous Players to assess its Theatre Managers.


Challenge

The paper-based process that Famous Players used to evaluate its Theatre Managers was difficult to manage. It required intense administration, occupying valuable staff time and resources. Data had to be gathered from across the country, manually compiled and meticulously analyzed before results could be transmitted to the manager and feedback provided to the staff member. Famous Players hired User in Mind to develop an online assessment tool that would collect inputs from multiple sources and improve the organization's ability to evaluate and provide feedback to its employees.

Results

Throughout the eight-week transition to an online assessment platform, the team kept the lines of communication open, meeting frequently with end users to ensure that the system was designed to fulfill their needs. The end result was a bilingual 360-degree multisource feedback mechanism that was rolled out in locations across Canada. Convenient for participants to complete and easy for administrators to manage, it successfully automated the task of collecting and processing feedback for individuals as a part of their performance review. Famous Players achieved the following results from the integration of Internet technology in the staff assessment process:
