UIM was retained to implement a website solution that would permit the sharing of data between the University's MySQL database and a volunteer application (Sybase) hosted by Volunteer Hamilton, the local volunteer agency. The completed web application provides a wealth of opportunities and volunteer information for students as well as simplifies the process for agencies to submit postings. The site also integrates the University's Social Science Department field placement program, enabling students to log in and view the many opportunities available in this area.
